Weather changes from day to day. It's springtime right now, and while yesterday and today brought sunshine, the forecast is for rain tomorrow and the following day. So bring an umbrella and a raincoat. You may not need them, but you'll be better off if you have them - just in case.
The Cherry trees are in bloom in Stanley Park - you can walk around the park (it's in downtown Vancouver) and see some spectacular scenery, as well as see the cherry trees, which are magnificent.
You can ride the gondola up Grouse Mountain, you can rent bikes and ride around the UBC area, there's a ton of stuff to do. Just depends on what kind of things you enjoy.
Have fun!

Spring in Vancouver you should expect rain and cool days. Then hope you have sunny days like today. Even then it can be cool mornings. Where you are coming from and the weather you are use to may make a difference on how cold you think it is.

Depending on where you are coming from, I suggest you catch a hockey game! It is finals and Vancouver's NHL team and minor league team are both in playoffs. It is difficult to get NHL tickets and expensive, but it is an atmosphere not to be missed. Check with the hotel and they may have tickets. And if not, the Junior team is halfway through the playoffs and still going.

On a sunny day, go to Stanley Park and Grouse Mountain. On a rainy day, you can visit Science World. The one thing you have to see would be the Vancouver Canucks playing St Louis Blues game at GM Place.

There is lots to do. This week has seen beautiful weather and will be rain on weekend. I think it is going to clear up next week.

Have fun and stay away from the Main & Hastings (and East of that), not a nice area . . .thanks to our last mayor.
