Fluently? 2: English and French
English is my first language but I did grade 5-8 in French and I've taken some of my high school classes in French.
But I know enough Spanish, German, and ASL (sign language) to be able to say important things. I also know how to write Cree although I'm not that great at pronouncing it. And I know the most basic sayings in languages like Ojibway and Chinese.
Although I probably wouldn't know as much as someone who lives in a larger city, that is where I'd say about 90% of immigrants end up. |
