3 provinces:
1: Quebec
2: New Brunswick
3: Manitoba |

New Brunswick is the only officially bilingual province in Canada, and Quebec is the only officially unilingual (French) province.
There are smaller parts of western Canada, such as St. Albert, Alberta, where there is a large french-speaking population. |

There are predominantly French speaking regions in just about every province except Newfoundland and BC...Quebec is "officially" entirely French..parts of New Brunswick are predominantly French-in the northwest to northeast then along much of the eastern coast-Nova Scotia has french areas mostly along the Gulf of ST.Lawrence..In Ontario there are several french communties..Including Penetanguishene-about an hour and a half north of Toronto..and a few in the more eastern parts...as well as along the "French River" (aptly named)up highway 69 towards Sudbury.. in Manitoba(Souris-Red River region),Saskatchewan and Alberta all have "French regions"... |
