Generally, how old are the Canadians who answer the YA! travel questions? |
I'm just curious because you all have abundant levels of common sense and wisdom. Everytime I assume I know something about Canada, you're all quick to politely put me in my place.
Either you're youngsters with loads of common sense, or you are older Canadian folks with a lingering sense of youth. Because the same people with legal knowledge, customs and immigration knowledge, knowledge of Canadian history, also like the latest trends of Canadian fashion and art and rock.
I would love to immigrate to Canada, did I already blow my chances on that with my stupid YA questions? Now I'll never be able to get Canadian citizenship. :(
Additional Details I would love to get Canadian citizenship, and have dual citizenship, both USA and Canada. |

I'm 62, born in Canada.
In most cases, the answers here are pretty good, but as always, a few fools do wander in and out .
About 900,000 US citizens live and work in Canada. Many Canadians hold dual citizenship, due to marriage or family relationships. One basic rule of thumb is this .......Most Canadians have visited the USA a number of times, but most Americans have never ever been to Canada.
That's the big difference in understand and knowledge, I think.
As far as the level of knowledge shown by the Canadians here, it has to be the fact that we read more about the world than Americans, on average, do.
As an American, how much access to News from Canada do you have, on a daily basis ? Not much I would suggest.
Here in Canada , we can watch your TV news, 24/7 and can read all your news magazines and newspapers, if we want to do so.
Therefore we tend to be better informed.
