The others have pretty well covered the scene. I would only add to Kanadian...
Being from the U.S. carries no glamour in Southern Ontario. You are just one of many and some Canadian girls do not like guys from U.S. just on general principles. Their minds are made up. So, just be own friendly self and don't try too hard to impress. Canadian girls don't like the stereotype American show-off....
But I am sure it is a stereotype now isnt' it??
Relax and enjoy. You don't need to impress, we like the genuine article!!

toronto.com for hot clubs and reviews. About getting the ladies: don't tell them you're from the US. It won't do you any good. Not sure what you mean by "get girls," but don't act stupid. Canadian girls don't take ****. If you try anything stupid, you better watch your back cause you'll have heels up your *** and nails in your face. My gf told me to say that.

The Holiday Inn on King is central to the club district.

If you want to go clubbing, the club district is on Richmond Street, between University and Spadina. You can walk there in 3 minutes from that Holiday Inn.

What the %$#* does "get girls" mean. I'd say: a) don't say that; b) tell them how much you like Canada and don't tell them how great the U.S. is (no one cares); c) be cool about cultural diversity.
