Good place for young, single American girl to move in Canada? |
I am an American citizen, born and raised, but I kind of want a change.I am thinking over moving to Canada, either the Vancouver area or Toronto area. I also really like Prince Edward Island. Anyone have any advice on where I should move? It has to be a safe area, with job opportunities in the medical field and places to meet people.

Can anyone also recommend a website for immigrating to Canada from the U.S.? I took a test on one website and I had enough points to immigrate without sponsorship. |

Like most places every city in Canada has its pros and cons. Vancouver and Toronto are pretty "happening" places.
In the maritimes you tend to get pretty bad snowstorms, but if you like that type of weather. Weather in Vancouver tends to be more mild.
I think pretty much anywhere you go in Canada you'll find job opportunities for medical professionals

I nice safe, clean place to live in Canada is London, Ontario. There's lots of professionals with it being a university town and also having 3 major hospitals. There's only 350,000 people in London but it's in a convenient location if you want to visit Toronto, Detroit, Niagara Falls. |

I would definitely recommend Vancouver as well :) It's the best place by far - the weather is amazing, the beaches are awesome, the cost of living (with the exception of buying housing) is decent, and there are tons of great, cool places to hang out and meet people. |

Vancouver by a long shot. It does not have a winter, lots of opportunities in the medical industry and some pretty hip neighbourhoods and places to hang out. |

I'd say the Toronto area. But not so much IN Toronto as crime is on the rise. Maybe someplace like London, Ontario. Has lots of hospitals and if your looking for school it has a University with a good medical program. It is also the The Birthplace of Insulin. |
