Eaton Centre is a good start,
but walk along queen west and you will definitely love shopping there.
Also along yonge street there are TONS of stores, id go up yonge starting at queen!
Plenty of stores

The Eaton Centre is definitely the best place for a teen, but I'd also check out Queen West for some neat stuff. Also, if you're looking to spend a little more than most people, check out the Yorkville area (has stuff like Holt Renfrew, Gucci, Tiffany & Co., etc.). It also depends on where you are in Toronto, these are all downtown so if you're in the west end try Sherway Gardens (pretty much the same as the Eaton Centre), and if you're in the north, try Yorkdale mall.

Wow, you can't miss out on shopping places in Toronto !!!!!
Visit the malls there. I suggest Eaton Center, Sherway Gardens, Yorkdale Mall. Also, if you walk on Yonge streets or other streets in downtown you'll find interesting stores along your way.
If you're looking more into souvenirs types of stuff, or history stuff, then I suggest just looking in the small stores in downtown.
Torontoooooooo.
Check out the websites for information.

If this is your first time shopping in Toronto, go to the Toronto Eaton Centre for sure! Also go outside around the Eaton Centre, because there are more stores out there. Have fun!

Try Kensington Market in the Chinatown area. Lots of vintage shops and cafes. A really cool vibe. Also Queen west has tonnes of stuff, but can be expensive.

Cederbrae mall, fairview mall, scarborough town centre and yorkdale shopping centre are also some good ones
