Harper majority phobia ?

Is it not pathetic how our left wing media instill fear and paranoia ?

Surfer Jeff
he will never get a majority! no need to worry. but if he does it could be scary!

I hope that if he does not get booted out, that he wins a majority so he has no more excuses for why things are not getting done and the economy is tanking.

I would really hate to see us having spent so much money in times when people are losing their jobs, so we could have an election only to end up with the status quo.

Yep. One good reason not to elect them. Who needs a country run on hysterical reactions?

A conservative majority can be a scary thing if Harper tries putting up loads of fundamental values.

mj_puce
There's no need to have a phobia about it because the Conservatives won't get a majority government. They majority of Canadians didn't vote for them in the last election and polls show it's unlikely to happen in this little waste of time election either. The only reason they got a minority government last time and might get one again is because the vote on the left is split up between parties. Also whether or not it's based on real issues or just personalities, the Liberals are perceived as not having a strong leader right now. That won't give the Conservatives a majority because more people are voting NDP and even Green.

very pathetic, i can't stand it

The Grasshopper
it really is.
Canada NEEDS a majority gov't... we cant get anything done with ANOTHER minority.
and the only man for the job is Harper.
Dion isnt a leader, he doesnt have the winning charisma, and i dont understand what he's saying most of the time...
Layton and May stand no chance at winning, so they're out.

I'm sorry I've not heard a darn thing 'bout the Canadian election. The American one is just too dang interesting like a soap opera.
