Yes, I have. I live about an hour or so from there. Nice scenery, lots of trees and not very big. There is a WALMART though...so it must be fairly big. lol
Nice little town from what I've seen/

Yes I've been to Kenora once it's a great place to swim, fish, camping etc

pictureperfect
It's great! I used to live there! Lots to do and see while there! Lake of the Woods is gorgeous!

Cariad
Yes, I currently live in the area. :) I love it here. I am a bit worried about the future, as so many of our forestry jobs are disappearing. Other jobs affiliated with that are also going. It amazes me though that the spirit of the people does not die down, but keeps on fighting. It must be the beauty of the place that inspires us. (and being the smallest town to ever win the Stanley Cup! Go Kenora Thistles!!!)

it's beautiful, although it's very hilly, and i need some flat land. The biggest piece of flat land is the Canadian Tire parking lot! lol

I have been there only once. It is a nice town on beautiful Lake of the Woods. It is close to the Manitoba border, and much closer to Winnipeg than Toronto. I think it is only about 200 km from Winnipeg.

yes I've been to Kenora many times, have family there. it is a nice little town located on the Trans-Canada highway,it has grown lots though and gasoline there is costly or was the last time I was there.
It has a large aboriginal community and people are friendly. It is great for camping, fishing and hunting.

Dangermanmi6
been there done that and saw Husky the Muskie, I thought it was an OK place good for the outdoorsie types. My job has taken me through it several times and I like to stop there but it is a little too far off the beaten track for me.
