Kitchener is okay, but not as nice as the other two. Waterloo is better, as is Cambridge. Cambridge used to be 3 smaller towns, Galt, Preston and Hespeler. Even though they amalgamated in 1973 to form Cambridge, they are still thought of as the 3 different towns by the residents. I have lived in the area all my life, and have always found that Kitchener is trying to be a little Toronto... Waterloo is trying to still be a small town... and Cambridge is struggling with amalgamation still after over 30 years... partly because Galt gets all the attention and the other 2 areas get the short end of the stick.
When it comes to visual beauty, you will find that there are nice areas and parks mostly in Waterloo and Cambridge. You can also find beautiful areas just outside of the 3 cities. St Jacobs and Elmira, north of Waterloo, are nice... Fergus and Elora and Guelph, west and northwest of Kitchener/Waterloo are nice... Brantford and Paris, south of Cambridge, are nice... New Hamburg and Stratford, west of Kitchener/Waterloo are nice...
One thing about this area, you are close enough to the larger cities for the convenience, but far enough away to not be part of the hazards and headaches of metropolitan living.

Lots of nice countryside around it. Smaller places like Fergus and Elora are prettier.

They are all beautiful and quaint. I believe Kitchener is probably the largest and most interesting of the three. Don't pay any attention to the guy who mentioned racism. It has nothing to do with anywhere in Canada that's for sure

I live in Cambridge and have family in both Kitchener and Waterloo.
Waterloo has 2 universities and Kitchener is the largest of the 3.
Many people who live in Cambridge commute into toronto or other cities that are off the 401.

I do love living here, lots of parks, and tons of things to do. Not very often do we have to leave the area to keep ourselves entertained on the weekends. there are many conservation areas where you can swim and enjoy nature.

Although I haven't lived in any of those places, I have visited there, and they are all beautiful - but I personally think Cambridge is prettiest - perhaps because it's smaller.

I Lived on the border of K-W and they are great cities to visit. Lots of shopping and nightlife, Cambridge not so much, Guelph is beautiful tho (and not far from K-W or Cambridge)

I have been to all of the above....I wouldn't call them beautiful, but the are nice cities.

Here's a site for you to check out...

They are all midsize cities like every other mid-size city in Ontario. They aren't beautiful. They all have good and bad neighbourhoods. They all have all the stores you will need to live and they all have stuff to do if you look for it.

why Canada is so strange ?
I am canadian and I know all the city is sucks because people are racist
