Has anyone ever been up the CN Tower in Toronto?

Did you go to the glass floor and look down and notice the white x's on the ground? Yeah, I just figured out those were lightposts that are strategically shaped like x's and strategically placed directly under the glass floor. So tell me if you've seen them from above and then go back to the ground and couldn't find them because they were above you now.
Additional Details
those can handle 14 hippos, so i think you're safe standing on them

I have been up it a couple of times...and can't say I really noticed. Mind you, the first time I went up I was like 5-years-old, and the last time I went up it was winter and got dark while up there...so I don't really remember.

I don't remember white x's, just little tiny cars....
So if they were above you, where were they? I don't get that part....
But you should pay the extra money to get to the observation deck, located at the tip of the tower. Where there's a tiny ball at the top. Now THAT was friggin cool!! Windows all around, and on the bottom too, so you can see the ground. Really something!
