Niagara Falls, NY and Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada are side by side, and are separated by the falls themselves (as well as the gorge created by the falls over the years). They are connected by a few bridges, the most popular being the Rainbow Bridge. Yes, Niagara Falls, NY is a city. Quite a rough city too by the way. You don't want to be strolling around at night too far from the tourist areas. |

I would suggest that you were probably misspelling your search for Niagara Falls, NY because here is the page from freecycle.org about the group. According to them, they have 638 members in NFNY. I assume that means they have heard of the city. |

I live in the city Niagara Falls is on the border of both Canada and the United States both are very recognized full cities not towns or any other smaller place. Niagara Falls, ON Canada and Niagara Falls, NY are both separate places that are named Niagara Falls because of the actual falls that is between them. And its not Buffalo, NY it is near that city but that are seperate cities. |
