Personalized plates are supposed to be...welll...personalized. They should represent what you like or want, not what we would suggest. Make sure that what you select is one that you are happy to keep on your car (and any future car) and represents you, not just the city you are in. What happens if you move to Kingston or Hamilton later on? ;-) |

You can have up to eight characters without a graphic, up to six characters with a graphic.
HOGTOWN is already taken. How about BIGSMOKE? Or FORTYORK, or FT YORK. I think Fort York was the first name given to Toronto by the British. TWRTOWN (CN Tower). LEAFNATN or LEAFNTN, but they're probably taken, too.. C-YYZ is the designation for Toronto Pearson Airport.
You can check availability through the The Gov't of Ontario web site, but you can't just do a search on the plate you want. You have to go through about 6 screens before you can input yuor selection. The gov't just has to make everything difficult. |
