I live in the province of Ontario which is the second largest of our provinces and I would love to tell you about Canada!

I live in the southern part near London Ontario which is a fairly large city by Canadian standards (pop 300,000)

When I came here from England in the 1970's I found it to be a great place to raise my family - the people are nice and friendly and I find Canadians to be pretty laid-back people.

Here in Southern Ontario we are close to the beaches on Lake Erie, which is one of the 5 Great Lakes which contain 55% of all the fresh water in the world.

We do get cold, crisp winters and hot, sunny summers, autumn is spectacular because of all the fabulous fall colours and spring is lovely too!

We get snow here, usually just before Christmas (yipee - snowmobiling!), the snow lasts until the end of February or early March, then spring. Summer is June, July, August and early September which can get real hot. Autumn here is late September, October and by November it has turned cooler again

It is hot enough to swim and water ski, go fishing and hike in the woods, go camping - Canadians like outdoor activities.

You can find out more about this area if you like from this site - it has lots of info. http://www.discover-southern-ontario.com

Come on up and see us sometime - we like Americans!

What is it like in Texas; because I live in IRAN!

Also we heard in IRAN that You American alway making fun of Canadian and saying that "Canada Sucks" what that really mean, because in IRAN we say:

CAAN
HAA
DAA

Which means they are very A s s w h o l e s!

BebBugsToronto
I am "Toronto Bedbug" I am very happy to tell you that in Canada we have all kinds of BUGS; we are number one BUGS creator in the World!

Also we have SARS; butt you tell me Do you have more Cowboys like Bush! Send them few here we love to start civil war, we don't have men!

I was in Canada a few years back. It was very beautiful and not as cold some some might think. It all depends where in Canada you live, like the US. When I was there, people were very polite and didn't treat each other like criminals, but that was just around Nyangra Falls area. Toronto etc. At the very least they have free healthcare and better labor laws.

I live in TX too. It seems everyone here has a chip on their sholder and drive like maniacs, this was the same as California. TX isn't a great place for open minded individuals either.

Well Texas is HOT in the summer, and Canada is COLD in the winter. While Texas weather is WILD in the winter, Canada's weather is GREAT in the summer, because most of Canada never gets really uncomfortably hot. In fact, many in the west coast don't even have air conditioning, and they're wealthy.
