"Hi"....here's a Canada Immigration site to look at.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp
Read it closely ( more than once if you have to ) and it should explain what to do rather nicely.....it also has lots of links to explore.
Glad to help and "Good Luck" to you and your family ! *S* (Michael C...)

Just to clarify. Migrating is what birds do. You want to immigrate.
The right way is to review the Canada Immigration website and see what are the requirements for coming to Canada. The basics are:
1) Prove you have money to support yourself, or that you have job opportunities here
2) Pass a health exam, and have no contagious diseases or problems that may put a burden on our healthcare system.
3) You must not have a criminal record.
Go to the website and look at the options for immigration. You may qualify as a skilled worker, and if you do the immigration process is made a bit easier.
If you speak/read/write English reasonably well, you can immigrate to any province or territory (except Quebec) and should have no problems. In Quebec, you should be able to communicate in French, as it is the common tongue and will be easier to find a job if you are fluent in that language.

Here's another useful site:

A migration is a seasonal event in which an animal will travel to warmer climate. Eg. Birds, and Canadians going to Arizona.
Canada is very diverse. If you are of a visible minority you will fit right in here as 16% of the people of Canada are a visible minority.
Check out government sites such as

Are you worried about fitting in? Culural differences? I lived in China for 3 years, just smile, nod to people, watch the things they do, observe and learn. Dont try too hard, you will get used to it.
