Hotels around Niagara Falls? |
I'm looking for a place (on the canadian side) to stay at when going to Niagara Falls. Nothing too expensive but clean and decent. |

Stay on Clifton Hill... It's where I stay when I go... The Comfort Inn and the Quality Inn are both affordable and nice, with the Comfort Inn being a bit nicer... And your a block from the falls, and right underneath the Skywheel!!! Plus all the other attractions on Clifton Hill... You can park your car at the hotel and not need it for the entire length of your stay...Your about a 10 minute walk from the Aviary (A MUST see)...It's also under a 5 minute walk to one Casino and under 15 to the other...
You can save money by going in off-season or mid-week... I usually visit in May/June, as priced go up for July/August... And going for Tuesday with a Thursday checkout costs a lot less than going for the weekend...
The Hampton Inn North of the Falls is also very nice, but not within walking distance... It's a 5 minute drive from the falls, and it's right along the river... They used to offer a shuttle-bus but I'm not sure if they still do... If you stay here and have to drive down to the falls, park at the Casino... Valet parking there is 5 or 6 dollars, it's secure, and 1/2 the price of any other parking around...

I would suggest Comfort Inn or Quality Inn on Clifton Hill. They are both with in a couple minute walk of the falls and tons of attractions. |

You could always do Priceline...just put in the amount you want to spend and let them pick for you. I have used Priceline many time on vacation and have always been happy with the hotels I have got. |

The closer to the Falls you are, the more expensive everything becomes. Try to find something farther away that has a shuttle. Even Denny's is more expensive...a basic breakfast 2 years ago was $15! |

I just got back from Niagara Falls a few days ago and we stayed at the Days Inn.
It's in a decent location and has a shuttle down to the Casino's which are right next to the falls... So you can save on the outrageous parking prices...
It's a really cheap place to stay and it was very nice with fire places in ever room, Pool and Whirl Pool. |

I would try to find a hotel on www.ybtravel.com/gordonsa they are usual very cheap when it come to hotels and flights. I use them for my trips to Atlanta and New York.
