Pfeeeww!! Are you really planning on visitin ALL the stores??? Let me tell you, I've been working in WEM (West Edmonton Mall) now for over a year in the retail area, and still there are TONS of stores that I havent seen and to be honest there are some areas of the mall where I havent been to. WEM can be an amazing adventure if you are going with your family, friends or even by your self. A few recomendations would be:
1. Use comfortable shoes, trust me, you will cry after 2 hours if you dont
2. Always take a jacket with you, even if it's nice out. The weather in Edmonton can change in 5 minutes, and the areas in the mall by the ice ring are particulary cold.
3. Before than anything, go straight to the closest location where you can get a map of the mall, you will get lost if you dont
4. Plan your day ahead. Think if you want to spend the whole day in the mall, and if you do, plan where do u want to go for lunch or supper, the mall has 2 big food courts and a restaurants street called Bourbon Street
5. If you are shopping, rent one of those small carts that you can use to put your bags in, just ask in the information booth (there is one by the ice ring)
6. If you have kids with you, rent a stroller, they will get tired. You can find them right infrot of entrance 48, by forever XXI
Hope I was able to help you!!

West Edmonton Mall is the largest mall in the world, so it's huge.
It has over 800 stores.
It also has movie theatres, an amusement park, mini-golf, submarines, a waterpark, and a under-sea adventure.
I suggest you don't try to enjoy it all in one day, it's better if you plan it out on two or three days.

You can check out the website here:

A weekend is usually good enough. Most people can't handle more than that anyway. It's approx. the size of 14 city blocks so wear good walking shoes.

now i have not hit every store but you can walk the mall without actually entering a store in about 4 hours LOL.
I have been able to memorize the mall quite well after being there every weekend for a year! There will be many stores you won't want to go into.

I was there in 1987. If I remember correctly, five stories (?), waterslides with a wave generator and a wading pool, indoor golf course, lots of movie theaters. . .

INCREDIBLE!!!
