How cold??

I was wondering how cold is it in Canada, Burnaby BC? Im from the philippines and well I dont think I have the appropriate wardrobe. Ive never been to Canada, only LA. So how cold is it around August-September and when school starts?

It's not that cold in August and September. You should bring a decent jacket (not a winter jacket, just something the weight of a heavy sweater) and it should be water/wind proof. The cold won't be a problem, but if you're near the water at night or it's raining out, you'll be happier with a good jacket. I'd say a heavy sweater and a raincoat would probably do the trick. Bring a couple of pairs of pants if you're there for a while, but you will probably be able to wear shorts and a T-shirt many days, especially in August

about 20-22 degrees C in the day and dropping to 13-14 at nite during that time of year. Late august/early September is almost always sunny time and no humidity. You can get by with shorts/tshirt in the day but nite you'll need long pants and perhaps long sleeves. Probably get by without a jacket or a very light one.
The real rain here sets in about mid-october and then we dont see the sun again until sometime in March!

Vancouver can get pretty windy cold and rainy so for a person coming from the tropics its best to have much warmer clothes than others who are used to the climate-The period you will be there will be the fall season (starting in Sept), just beautiful in Vancouver but if you have a nice long coat and a warm scarf if it gets too cold for U,you will feel more comfortable than a sweat shirt & trousers

it's around 15-20 degrees celsius,
you'd probably need to wear a sweatshirt

The weather here is pretty moody. I think it was last year, I don't remember, but it was all tank tops and shorts for a week, and then the following week was like, jeans and thick sweaters. I recommend you to just always have a sweater and to check the weather report!

(haha) hailey (xo)☆
it's pretty warm right now because it's summer it's like 20 celcius

winter time is cold but not really cold.

on a sunny day.. wear a t shirt and shorts/long pants..

on a cloudy day or at night.. sweater and long pants
