How do Canadians communicate without any road signs?

I'm not going to insult any nation by making an assumption about where you are from. What I would suggest is that you clarify your question.

If you are saying that all of Canada has absolutely no road signs? If so, then you are incorrect and probably have never been here. All of the exits are clearly marked, the speed limits are listed (although they are in km/h not mph), and we even have signs that state things like national parks or places of interest that are coming up.

If you are referring specifically to Quebec and that there are road signs but not in English, most Canadians know what the basic French words mean on a sign (nord = north, sud = south, sortie = exit, etc)

Was your question asked because you honestly thought Canada has no road signs?

You just crossed over into Quebec and could not make sense of the road signs in French, could you? So now you think that Canadians throughout communicate without road signs, do you?

Well guess what? Other than those telling you what street the highway exit ramp will lead you to, road signs in Canada are exactly the same as those in the US.

So let me ask you back: How do Americans communicate without any road signs?

y do americans pride themselves on being the arseholes of the world..??...Canadians and Europeans would never want to be thought of like that..we have too much self respect and consideration for others...but u don't seem to care...weird

We have signs. There's the five finger way to say thanks, then there's the one finger wave to save eff you.

Aw, be nice everyone. I thought we were supposed to be nice polite people! You might want to reword your question so people can answer it a little easier. Do you mean the signs in Quebec? Or are you saying there is more space between our roadsigns than where you live? Are you talking about the hand signals Canucks use btn pedestrians and drivers? No, I'm not talking about giving someone the finger
