Yes it comes in bags but you can also get it in jugs or cartons so choice is yours.

Yes milk comes in bags. There are 3 smaller bags inside the larger bag. The total weight is 4 liters, each bag is approx 1.3 liters.

There is no box. You can buy a dispenser((for inside the fridge) but they seem to take up a lot of room. We just stand the bag up against the side of the fridge or take the bags out and lay them on the shelf. We put each bag into a plastic pitcher and cut off the tip for pouring.

You can buy milk in 4 liter containers at some stores. It also comes in 1 and 2 liter cartons.
Chocolate milk comes in 4L bags as well as 1 and 2 liter cartons.

I remember those! I am Canadian, but haven't seen a milk bag for ages. It's usually either cardboard cartons or big, plastic jugs. But, the bags are still out there!
You normally cut the corner of the bag and place the entire bag into a pitcher.
Check out the follow site which is actually dedicated to milk bags!

It comes in 1 litre bags in some places; in others, it can come in cartons or in platic jugs. It really depends on the company. But plastic bags has got to be the least wasteful, though.

I have family there.
And yeah theyre milk comes in bags. they cut like a corner off the plastic bag and have a special container for it but it still stays in the bag.

May I also add a question, as to why?

Yes, it's true milk comes in bags and chocolate milk too if you like! You get a big bag with three bags in it. Four litres all together, so each is 1 1/3 litres. We have cartons too, and even 4 litre plastic jugs. There are bins you can buy to dispense the bags in your fridge, I have one of these. Where are you from and how is your milk sold?

I haven't seen a milk bag in years and years. All the milk in Alberta, as far as I know, comes in cartons and jugs.

The milk in the west GENERALLY comes in cartons or plastic jugs. as for the east plastic bags are very common

Although there are areas that it still comes in bags where I live it comes in cartons varying from 25oml to 4l. The bags are still in use in parts of Canada and they are basically several smaller bags inside one larger bag totalling 4l. There were generally 3 to 4 bags in one large bag although 3 was the most common. There was a special jug that you bought which held the open bag. You placed the bag in the jug then cut a corner off of the bag and poured the milk out of it as needed.

Go Blue

Yes you can get your milk in bags, cut off the corner and stick in a plastic jug, poor into glass. We even have special cutter magnets to cut the bags.
You can also get them in cartons and jugs just like in the US.
When my husband moved to Canada I totally forgot about the milk bags and he thought it was very amusing, however I drink soy milk which comes in a carton.
Mostly chocolate milk comes in a carton.
