How do I make it through teething?
My daugther just screamed through an entire night, but tonight she's fine. Why one night it hurts and the next she's fine?
Clean cold frozen or just wet wash-clothes always worked great for my kids. They can chew on them and they are soft so they wont hurt their gums. Give it a try it was a life saver for me. Good Luck!

Put teething rings in the freezer. Get a bunch and always have them ready. Also, put some carrots in the freezer and have your child chew on them. For night, you can cut a children's motrin in half and give it to your child. Check with the doctor, though before giving any meds to your child. I hope this helps and have fun getting through teething!!

There are gum salves you can buy that numb the gums and help....also giving her some tylonal (not asperin)....and in the daytime she can chew on frozen, cold teethers...keep them cold to be more soothing. The name of the salve is escaping me at the moment....find it with the teeth products...maybe also in the baby section.
In the old days mothers put whisky on their gums...not sure I would recommend that now...but guess it did work.
Not sure why the hurting fluctuates....the teeth are trying to come through, and that takes time.
