Pretty well the same as other Western countries. It used to be more common for a middle class family to be able to live in a big house with a large back yard. Now with the cost of housing and less time to take care of the house, more people live in apartments or in cookie cutter suburban developments with tiny postage stamp lots. I suspect it's the same as a lot of countries. There are only minor differences, for example in the northern territories, houses can't have basements. They have to have the first floor a few feet above the ground or the heating of the house would melt the permafrost and the building would sink and get crooked. |

People live in houses and apartments, etc. the same as in the US or Britain. There are all the same modern conveniences. The stereotype that Canadians live in ice houses (igloos) is untrue. |

Please don't tell me this is another ignorant igloo joke. |

In the summertime, we go south where it is a little warmer. However in winter we just love to stay indoors at our igloo, which is a structure made from blocked ice. We usually enjoy our little campfire while dropping string through a hole in the floor to the basement. There we keep a vast collection of fish suitable for food or pets. Its great up here but leave the golf clubs home! |

They live just like people in other developed countries. They live in houses, apartments, duplexes, town houses, etc. |

same as in the states, just colder, less crowded and more tolerant towards other races |

Maybe???

We live on food and water.
The homes are massive; they have to be because of all of the East Asian immigrants who bring their entire family. |
