Cold and colder. Unless you live on the west coast where it will be wet and wetter than usual. |

I really do not think anyone can anymore.....with the climatic changes we have to wait and see. Here in the Caribbean we sit and watch every storm that forms on the Atlantic and just cross out fingers that it does not amount to an "H".
We are Canadians, still have a home in Langley BC and I know our gardener tells us everything has changed in the garden. Scarey!!! |

Here in southern Ontario ( Bobcaygeon ) I have noticed that the cedar trees are very heavy with seeds, this indicates a lot of snow...The Farmers Almanac ( They use computers ) predict a wet and warm fall and winter ( like last year ) But I think they are wrong. From nature signs, little beaver dam activity, large buds I think it will be cold, lots of snow, plenty of Arctic cold air, more like 20 years ago... |

I predict those fridgid Canadian air masses will sweep down into the midwest causing unseasonably cold temperatures and unusual amounts of precipitation.
That's what the weatherpeople usually say here in Kansas when it gets too cold. They blame it on Canada :oP |

One checks on the El Nino activity in the Pacific Ocean. This year, a mild winter is forecast. |

i usually just check theweatherchannel.com and click on the canadian city that i will be in, they give you a 5 day forecast. Check the wind chill factor - that is the real estimate of how cold it feels! |

You can't predict it! You hope for the best, and prepare for the worst! |

El Nino appears to be in effect for this winter so that might alter things a bit. |
