I'm not the type to sit in a border line-up for 2 hours to go shopping in Seattle Outlet Mall so I'm not a real fan of the high dollar. Even more annoying is the fact that most things still cost the same or more than they did 3 years ago when you dollar was worth 80 cents. I'm hoping the dollar goes down pretty quick. It will boost the economy in the east and the west since we are an export dependent nation. |

Though I like it when going over the border to buy gas, it is a real hardship on those employed in the forestry industries. There is much less lumber going to the US. |

Personally, very happy, since I live in the States and getting my fees in CDN $...The situation is the same against the European currencies... Of course, if you happen to visit the States, you are in BAD luck - sorry...
The Federal Reserve is manipulating the exchange rate - among other things, depending, how obscene the fortune the US ows its creditors /world economy is, how much they need/want to "stimulate" the economy, etc... |
