I am in Canada and I don't know what the fcuk this country?
We are not really multicultural like we say...
We are racists, but we are also good at hiding it....
We are buch of animals....
Canada is looking for educated slaves, not professionals specifically from brown and black countries... (doctors as taxi drivers, engineers as road cleaners, etc.)
****DON'T LIE WHITE CANADIANS! Do you need facts? Sure... here you go:
By Laurie Devine (McGill University | Montreal, Quebec | Nov 20 2008)
Black Montrealers still earn substantially less than whites, The Gazette reported earlier this week. “The data demonstrate that blacks have dramatically lower incomes than non-blacks… at every age and even among university graduates,” the study by McGill’s Consortium for Ethnicity and Strategic Social Planning states. “No matter how you cut it, blacks earn less than non-blacks, irrespective of age, gender, occupation and level of bilingualism,” consortium director Jim Torczyner, a McGill social work professor, told Jeff Heinrich of The Gazette after presenting the findings. The study’s preliminary findings were released this week at a Quebec Human Rights Commission conference on discrimination in the workplace and were based on the 2006 federal census.

Wow, I didn't realize until now that I am clueless about Canadian history and economics. As a citizen of the neighboring country (USA), I'm ashamed. So much time is spent on European history. North American history is all focused on the US in our schools. Most of Canada is a mystery to me except for Toronto and Niagara.
I work with the Canadian government and some Canadian companies. To be honest, it is always a pleasure. I view the people as very friendly. I also like hockey ;-) So maybe I just envision too many maple trees and hockey rinks.
I only know the first 2 words of your national anthem :( O Canada! |

We did not learn very much about Canadian in history classes, we were required to take US History and World Civ, which was mostly a study of Asian countries.
Personally I feel Canada is one of the better countries in the world. The people are by far more laid back, and less vain than here in the United States, and seem to have better world views and knowledge.
While the population country wide is only that of one of our larger cities the country does exceptionally well with social benefits, viewpoints, and violence. (Outside of perhaps Toronto and the few bigger cities...)
Montreal is absolutely beautiful, the Edmanton Mall is amazing, Price George is breath taking, and Vancuver is a blast.
My children are Canadian, and I am quite proud of that.
Canada is quite an underrated Country. Most Americans sadly do not even realize that Canada has an army, or that Canada was actually in World War 2 long before we decided we'd jump in and try to do something about the slaughtering.
Plus, you got hockey and tim tims, and ANY country that can produce Cloutier is okay by me! |

Honestly, I just don't. I guess just as the people who live in the country above me? Citizens of Canada
I know a some Canadian history, I know the rough geography of Canada, and I do know some about your economy. Yes, I did learn most of that in school.
