Hey.
I'm not a lumberjack,
or a fur trader...
and I don't live in an igloo
or eat blubber, or own a dogsled...
and I don't know Jimmy, Sally or Suzy from Canada,
although I'm certain they're really, really nice.

I have a Prime Minister,
not a President.
I speak English and French,
NOT American.
and I pronouce it ABOUT,
NOT A BOOT.

I can proudly sew my country's flag on my backpack.
I believe in peace keeping, NOT policing.
DIVERSITY, NOT assimilation,
AND THAT THE BEAVER IS A TRULY PROUD AND NOBLE ANIMAL.
A TOQUE IS A HAT,
A CHESTERFIELD IS A COUCH,
AND IT IS PRONOUCED 'ZED' NOT 'ZEE', 'ZED'!

CANADA IS THE SECOND LARGEST LANDMASS!
THE FIRST NATION OF HOCKEY!
AND THE BEST PART OF NORTH AMERICA!

MY NAME IS JOE!
AND I AM CANADIAN!

Canada is great, the best country in the world to live in. The people are friendly and welcoming. You would need to ask more specific questions for me to give a better answer, but generally Canada is nice, clean, friendly, comfortable, welcoming, generous, and kind, to name just a few characteristics ... and I am Canadian.

Canada is awesome. I'm smack dab right in the middle of the prairies in the middle of winter and I still think it's awesome here. Every city has something different to offer and for the most part during my travels the people have been very nice. I find the people on the east coast to be the nicest and most helpful though. Research cities or towns you are interested in and see which one suits you best.

You'll love it here... the weather is about the same as NY state unless you're heading to the far north. Everything else is better.... (yes, I'm bias).

Our economy is soaring, our health care is top notch and free, our immigrants are both legal and welcome, our crime is insanely low, our citizens are not armed, racism is an almost non-existent issue.....we DO NOT hate Americans, the incident the previous answerer spoke of is terribly unfortunate, my apologies! BTW, the people are pretty awesome too....

Where is nd? New Foundland? Isn't that IN canada? Canada economy is doing pretty well. It's very diverse, lots of taxes and stupid regulations. I think its messed up a little but all countries have their faults. At least Bush isn't running there!!

I have been to Canada and know a lot of Canadians. It can be a very nice place to live, and combines the best of the USA with the best of Europe in some ways.
If you can get a good job there, it is a great place to live. Also bring a jacket! Helps if you're not afraid of a bit of cold weather. I know a girl lives north of Edmunton and she loves it - it's also really warm and gorgeous in the Summers.

Well at least Bush dosen't live there it has to be good i'd say i think!!
