How is it in canada i heard you can't smoke there?
No Canada isn't smoke free. You cannot smoke in any government building. In many cities you can't smoke in restaurants or bars. You can always smoke in your home if you want, or in your car. Hospitals are smoke free, as are airports. There are rules about how far away from a building you have to be if you want to smoke.
The no smoking policies happened earlier in Canada than they did in health conscious places in the USA, like California.

You can smoke but only in selected places, some bars refuse the bylaw and will allow smoking in their establishments. Each town is different. Government and Service Building, you can smoke but you have to be 5 ft away from the entrance doors.

you can't smoke anywhere with a roof, basically.

You can smoke here, but only in private places. No public property at all, although it is very hard to enforce with the exception of bars because cops are there already. However you can smoke pot with very little consequence in a private residence. A little strange, but it is my country and there's nowhere else I'd rather live.
