Life is nice and quiet for the most part. I just came back from a 5 day holiday to New Hamshire and I really couldn't deal with the traffic on the highways and the beaches were so jam packed. Saint John is foggy most of the time but stays cool. Fredericton is awesome- I lived there for 5 years. I wish I still lived there because it's really toasty warm in the summer but you'll freeze in winter. It's a real university town. Moncton is nice too, I usually just go there for shopping because they have stores we don't have in SJ. All in all it's a great place to live. I realize this more and more as I travel more and visit other places. We don't have hard iced tea here which sucks though. |

LOL the person above me got it right: God's country! I personally like Nova Scotia better, but NB is in my heart also. I wouldn't recommend Saint John unless you enjoy fog... and I mean FOG. Fredericton is the prettiest city, Moncton is the most interesting being bilingual and lots of culture. It's also grown dramatically over the past 10 yrs. The Miramichi is a great place to live also, the ppl are great. I think any place in Atlantic Canada is a great place to live, we have such a strong sense of community and the ppl are friendly. You can't beat the scenery either! Lots of nearby parks to hike and camp in. |

I love it there. Why? Because my mother was born there. And the house that my gramma lived in and raised her 10 kids in is still there. Also the house that my aunt owed (now passed) is still standing. My mom at 86 is the only living relative now. I plan on going there for a visit again. So peaceful. All of the eastcoast in Canada has always been called "God's country." |

Nice place to live. People are friendly.Highways are not jam packed with traffic. Climate is OK,love the four seasons.Cost of living is a lot cheaper than most of Canada. Pretty good health system. Saint John is a good place to live in the summer time when most of the province is cooking in the heat, there is a nice cool breeze blowing in off the bay. If it gets to cool for you all you have to do is drive inland a little and its a lot warmer . Its like you can pick the temperature you like. |
