Um, the best to be living right now:
-cheap education
-everyone is entitled to free medicare
-our army is used for peace keeping
-paid maternity leave
etc. etc.

Well, "Nowadays", life is pretty grand in Canada. We have a fairly well educated society, and it is safe here. Don't get me wrong, bad things do happen, but compared to our neighbours to the south, I feel it is a lot better place to live.
