Its petty expensive depending where you are from. Ex. if you're from New York it won't be that bad.
The city is quite pretty, in most places anyway. Today was actually a really nice day, but expect lots of rain, espcially in the winter.
Whats fun to do? Vancovuer doesn't have a huge night life, if you like outdoor activities though, then you're fine. And Hockey. Go Canucks. I should catch a Giants game sometime...
Most people are really friendly, you can find some real red-neck Canadians here :P *cough my dad. Large asain population (not saying it's a bad thing), and I'll let you decide on the 4th.

Vancouver is a beautiful city. Yes it is expensive to live in depending on the area's. The people in vancouver are generally nice. Well like everywhere Vancouver has pretty people and ugly people. In Vancouver there is always tons of stuff to do. From going to clubs, out for a nice dinner, movie. Basically vancouver has everything to offer. |

Downtown is a fun walk-around. The people are typical North American west coasters. I wouldn't know about the girls. There is hockey to watch in Vancouver, both at the major level (Canucks) and major junior level (Giants--try to catch a match between Vancouver and the neighboring Chilliwack Bruins). For lunch, if downtown, go to Samba... rodizio-style cooking. Basically all you can eat meat, cooked on skewers over open flame, and brought around to the tables. Yummy. |

lots of bums, lots of crime, lots of muggers. everything is very expensive. you cant find anything cheap. noisy places everywhere, construction on every corner.
the white girls are really pretty in vancouver, lots of hot WHITE women... unfortunately theres a lot of asians here, and I think asians are ugly |
