Taking the Canadian route, logically it is 4 days. A pleasant days drive, and 3 overnight stops. You can do it in 3 days, but then you arrive exhausted. Driving straight through is not worth considering unless you have several drivers and can get decent sleep in the vehicle. You will arrive sweaty and smelly, in dirty clothes.

Travel time is actually 39 hours and 38 minutes (mapquest source), but of course you have to consider staying in a motel for overnight though.... so all together, i would say 4 days to get there....assuming your average daily driving is 12 hrs/day.

I would say about 45 hours. But you have to stop right? Unless you have a few people that want to do it in shifts!

Have fun! =)

I did Thunderbay to ottawa in 17 hours.going highway 11 , and driving faster than I should have been.
give some thought to Pjugs like that old fella on
Trailer Park Boys , if you wanna drive continuously.
hwy 17 is pretty hilly on the north shore.
Winnepeg to the Sue on the USA side is a nice drive.,
but watch for bears.

If I were you, I'd go enter the starting point and destination into Mapquest:

Assuming you are going the logical way (via Chicago), it could be done in about 40 hours - its about 2425 miles.
