If you drive at speed limit it should take you 4.5 hours to 6 hours depend at what time you get there rush hours are very bad in Toronto the trip from downtown Ottawa to downtown Toronto is about 400 km

I just did this twice this week.

4.5 hours non-stop (no Tim Horton's breaks).

can go up to 6 depending on road conditions; snow, black ice, etc. via 401-416-417. Average speed in good conditions is about 120km/hr but that will net you a $100 fine if you're not lucky.
Expect to meet small packs of cars doing 140km/hr. If you
stick to 100km/hr, or worse, lower, you will be run off the highway.

From Toronto to Ottawa is 406.4 kms (252.5 miles) it would take 4 hours and 10 mins to drive.

Allow longer for traffic, try to avoid rush hours.

If the traffic is good it should take about 4.5 hours but a lot longer in bad taffic.

firehorsetwo
I do it all the time. About 4.5 hours of you have good traffic, and no radar stops, and average about 120kmph. This includes the muck sludge pit traffic that is just east of Toronto city limits.

basport_2000

cripesokay2
