LOL. Ottawa is the Capital of Canada. It's also in Southern ONTARIO. Ontario is a PROVINCE. and as far as the driving time between QE and ON, it depends on where you're going and where you're coming from. as they are BOTH provinces.
plz check YAHOO MAPS. once you've figured out where you are going and such...lol |

Please look at a map so you can ask a question that makes sense. Ottawa, a city, is IN Ontario, a province, so if you're in Ottawa you're already in Ontario. Driving time therefore is 0. Ontario to the province of Quebec is going from one province to another right beside it so it might take about 3 seconds to cross the border. There is also a city called Quebec. How long it takes to get there from Ontario depends on where in Ontario you're starting from. It could be a long day's drive difference from one starting point to another. |

Ottawa is a city in Ontario. Ontario is a province. That's like asking how long it would take to get from Madrid to Spain. Quebec is also a province. Provinces are big places, too, so any answer you get will be highly varied. Please be more specific in your question. |

It honesty depends which city/town your coming from, since the fact that Ontario is a province and Quebec is also a province East of Ontario. If your talking about Quebec city, it still depends on which town/city in Ontario your coming from. |

As you can see from the other answers Ottawa is a city in Ontario and Ontario is a province.
Time to get to Quebec from Ontario - 5 minutes in some places. Hull Quebec is just across a bridge from Ottawa. Grenville Quebec is just across a bridge from Hawkesbury. So you would be better to ask how long from one city to another. It is a hour and a half to two hours from Ottawa to Montreal but it is about 6 or 7 hours from Toronto to Montreal. |

I'm assuming you are going to be driving there, so:
Depending on what place in Ontario you are coming from and what place in Ottawa you are going to, from Souther Ontario, it's about 5-6 hours (also depends on traffic)
From Southern Ontario to Quebec it takes about 8 hours
Have fun if you are going! |
