Usually, it ends around March. Spring slowly creeps in around then. But there can be a few surprise storms in April. You just never know. |

March 21 st. However there is no switch that turns off winter, into spring. Its much more gradual than the date suggests. Sometimes it gets warmer in early March, while other times, its into April we go. |

I have seen snow in the beginning of June once...no kidding here !!
Otherwise..depends on the years...sometimes mild (for the country that is... - 10 is still OK) and sometimes absolutely paralysing.....- 45C celsius or worse . with the windchill factor.

It can start early around October or later and really you never know when it ends..March/ April..depends on the years.
I read once from a guy : if you pee outside and it turns to ice instantly : you know it is winter :-) |

Officialy it didnt even start yet, winter starts dec. 21!!! Dont worry though, if you go skiing, snowmobiling, skating etc. you will appreciate it a little bit more! |
