It depends, for example what time of the day
what day of the week (traffic)
and the weather (driving slow due to black ice, or snow)
-Also, depends on how many stops...normally, I stop once (both ways) just to stretch my legs and eat.
Its actually about 4 1/2 hr drive...if you're going the speed limit.
But I have driven and arrived in Ottawa at 4hrs (but I was speeding, and I wouldn't suggest you do the same)
I'm heading back to Toronto in 2weeks time, I'm going to try to beat my time.

It depends on the time of day, weather conditions, traffic, how often you want to stop, etc. If you can do the drive in less than 4 hours you are driving too fast. Count on at least 4 hours. I have done the drive several times, and any faster is too nerve wracking.

look on Map Quest, put in the Toronto address and the Ottawa address and it should give you an exact time, mileage and directions.
