Just guessing but did the Calgary Flames wipe out your favourite team recently or something?
Your question may have been more correct , but not totally so, back in the 1950s and 60s but it is not true anymore. Lots of young people were born there. BTW I am old so young to me may be a teenager or someone in their 40s :o)

to kevin - lots of trees have been planted. It is the Prairie and the conditions are not conducive to tree growing generally. And you want to be grateful for the Prairies - without them you would probably not be able to afford a loaf of bread.
If you want to get competitive about hockey or football - go for it. Being competitive about some other part of this great country is childish and shows us all how totally uninformed you are about your own country. |

I've only been through Calgary but I have to say it was a nice view from the rear view mirror as I left. I found it to be dull and brown (plant some trees people). I'm sure the locals like for one reason or another. |
