It's just under a 1,000 km and an 11 hour ride. So I assume you would start with the tank full, it will be only 1 or 2 stops.

sunny
I would set aside enough money for 3 fill ups just in case, but chances are you'll only go through 2 tanks, but better to aim higher then lower.

SaskAries
Depends on how you drive your car, what the weather is like, etc. Driving in the winter you will use more gas.

I would say you would probably need to fill up 2 times, you do not want to run out of gas on the Coquihalla

Karen L
You forgot to say how far it'll go on a tank of gas. That's what we really need to know.

dave.greg
I've done the trip several times on less than one tank of fuel, but I knew my truck would do it.
Now I always top off my tank in Kamloops. Better safe than sorry.

NickyM
fill up in Golden and go to McDonalds while you're there. it's tradition!

kenoplayer
Definitely two stops for sure.
