Gas is $1.09 a liter or $4.95 an imperial gallon after a %14 tax added (Nova Scotia) that brings it to $5.64 a Imp.gal. or $4.51 a US gal, as US gal are %20 smaller than Imp. gals.
Now that $4.51 is in Canadian funds so after the exchange it comes to $3.89US per US gallon of gas. |

we pay about $1.15/litre now which translated into american would be about $5.00/US gallon.
Ours is more expensive as we have road taxes. In British Columbia we also have a transit tax and a carbon tax. |
