The flight from Heathrow to the eastern part of Canada (Halifax) is about 4 hours. To Toronto about 5.5 hours and if your going all the way to the west coast (vancouver) it will be about 9 hours flying time.

Try http://www.aircanada.com or

The cheapest fars I have found are with Canadian Affair ( www.canadianaffair.com ).

They are offering flights to Toronto, Halifax, Montreal from £229 return including taxes and fuel surcharges. Flights to Calgary and Vancouver from £299 return.

Globespan, 2 years ago we went for a week, had 3 nights in Toronto and 3 in Niagara for £960, so just for flights it must be a lot cheaper, the flight we went on was direct from Glasgow, it was 6 hrs

It'll take you about 4- 14 hours depending on where you intend to fly to in Canada - the cost of the tickets will also be as varied. Canada is a huge country.
