40-60 is the expected range. For me, it's around 40.

If you're adventurous and don't have a lot of luggage, might I be so bold as to recommend public transit? For less than three dollars you can get the192 bus to Kipling subway station, and from there into downtown. It takes longer than a cab ride, it's not as convenient, but it's significantly cheaper. I never use taxis when I'm in TO anymore ... unless the office pays for it! ;)

It depends exactly where, but approximately $50-60.

And when I say it depends on where in the city, I really mean it. I took a taxi from the airport to my home, and the driver asked which side of the street it was on-- the north side was $5 cheaper than the south side! I asked him why, and he said it's because they zone their prices by dissecting the city in different areas. My street just happened to be right on the border of 2 zones.

My last trip was $60 from Pearson to Queen and Bay

According to worldtaximeter, fromthe airport to Yonge St & Bloor St it will cost around 40 Canadian dollars, and more or less 30 minutes.

You can check your exact destination there to get a more accurate quote.

I think fares are generally negotiated with the driver when you get into the cab. I've seen anywhere from $40-60 receipts (I'm an admin assistant and often process travel claims, so I see taxi receipts from the airport to downtown all the time).

If it's a busy night, bad weather, cancelled flights or whatever, it will cost you more.
