It depends what type of cheese, normal cheese like chedar is about 5 bucks, and it goes up from there any where from 25$ and up. the more better tasting it is and depending where its being imported from the more it cost.

That depends on the type of cheese and where you buy it grocery stores or market will have differences in prices. It can range any where from $5 and over.

Regular Kraft brand cheddar cheese (medium or mild) is about $7.00 a pound in most supermarkets. Specialty cheeses are more, some of the high end gourmet stuff can run up to $20 a pound. You can also find lower priced 'no-name' cheese for about 4.50-5.00 a pound. Quite a bit higher than you will find it in the USA - the last time I was in a Costco in Washington, a 5 pound block of Tilamook cheddar was $16.00.
