Depends on whether your conviction was a felony or not. Yes, you may apply for a pardon but the U.S. does not recognize Canadian pardons for all crimes. Another way is to write the Governor of the State(s) you hope to visit and apply for a waiver for travel. Pardons take about 6 months at a cost of around $750.00, about a year for $500.00 or almost 2 years if you do it yourself at a cost of a little over $100.

If it's been 15 years without incident, you're long overdue to apply for a pardon and have it removed from your record.

LC
apply for a criminal waiver.

you must disclose it on your immigrant application in my experiance if it is minor and you tell them about it they really don't mind....consult an attorney good luck

Yes. You can apply for a Pardon. If you flip through the Yellow Pages under Lawyers or Attorneys, you will find many who deal with them.

Don't tell US immigration and don't get nervous when they enter your name into the computer - they do this with everyone now. A minor conviction of 15 years ago is unlikely to be in their computer database.
