I'm going on a trip to Calgary Canada and I see that the drinking age in Alberta is 18?
but I hear if you're American, you still have to be 21...is this true?
nope, 18 for everyone.
so remember, have fun but don't party too hard.
&don't drink if you're gunna drive.

Nope. You do not have to be 21 at all in Canada anywhere. They will only check your id to see if you are 18 - not if you are american or if you are 21. Enjoy.

And remember that Canadian beer is at least 5.5% alcohol, compared to the --what--3%? of American beer, as well as having more flavour. Many Americans have come to grief after forgetting about that alcohol content.

The law of the Province or State you are in applies so if you are in Alberta, you can legally consume alcohol at age 18.

No you can go ahead and drink if you are 18 or over. Calgary is a GREAT city, and make sure to go to Banff, The mountains are so beautiful. If you make it as far as Jasper, then the Jasper Pizza Place is a great place to eat! JPP rocks!!
(mind you it's been a while since I have been there hehe)
