I'm going to visit Hamilton, Ontario soon. Where would you say I should go?

I'm 29, the wife is 24 and we're bringing our four year old daughter. What would you suggest we check out that would be fun to see or somewhere good to eat or maybe a mall that you think is better then Toronto, I don't know...any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

The city of Hamilton is a nice, quiet city that way smaller than Toronto and there's not much to see and do....is there any particular reason you're going to Hamilton?

Do you like Stelco or Dofasco??? If you love steel mills and urban decay, then Hamilton is the place to be.... or if you really want something to do, check out the CFL Hall of Fame or Dundurn Castle....

The Hamilton farmers market is great (open tues, thurs, fri, and sat). It's just down the street from Copps Colliseum. There's a water front park straight down Bay st. from there. Ottawa street is known for fabric shopping. I love the waterfront best, although during the winter months, its slow. The summer is best, they have farry rides, the Haida, Williams coffee pub, great parks, ect.

being from hamilton it's kind of hard to think of good things in hamilton but don't get me wrong it's a great place!

The only place in hamilton I can think of to go is the CFL hall-of-fame

visit http://www.tourismhamilton.com for info!

There really isn't too much to do in Hamilton in the winter when it comes to siteseeing. It's mostly museums that are gonn a bore your 4 year old to tears. Although there is a Children's Museum. If you are renting a car you might consider a drive to Toronto or even Niagara Falls (weather permitting). Toronto is about an hour or so if I remember right.,

I would ask the hotel you are staying in about local attractions.

There is nothing in smelly Hamilton. It's just smelly.

As someone who grew up just outside of Hamilton, I would suggest you go somewhere else, anywhere else really...............
