Lots. It depends on how you want your life changed. One that has meant a lot to me is "What Dreams May Come," starring Robin Williams. It is a view of the afterlife which is pretty compelling, and quite unique.

Another is "Don Juan de Marco" starring Johnny Depp and Marlon Brando. As Brando says at the end, "Romanticism is not only incurable, it is highly contagious." It's the one with the song, "Have you ever really, really loved a woman?"

Or inspiring in quite another way is "Brother Sun, Sister Moon" by Franco Zeffirelli. It's about St. Francis and St. Theresa, and the music is by Donovan. It's just plain beautiful; very sensitive and valuable even for a non-Christian.

Johnny Depp's "Finding Neverland" was pure artistry.
My children and I watched it for the first time last week.

The Emperor of Ecstasy
On golden pond......cause we all grow old someday....

Try any or all of th efollowing:

Rainman
Children of a Lesser God
Saving Private Ryan
Schimmler's List
Citizen Kane
An Inconvenient Truth

and if your own viewing history includes all of those, you probably need to be answering the question, not asking it! :)

try battle royale. a japanese movie. ok its bit viloent, nt sure how this reates to anything. but umm well a clas of grade 9 studens were chosen on a lotttery, brought to an island and like totallty kick each others butt, second movie, is still good, totally goes to war, oes off topic, th e kids are teerroirsts and the adults fight them, who knows where the kids like got those big guns and bombs who knows, all i know is they want revenge with adults and totally kicked their butts. it goes a bit off topic.

"THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS" starring Will Smith, very inspirational

?
"Cold Mountain."

ardenleigh94
You should see The Pursuit of Happyness.....starring Will Smith and Jaden Smith. I recently saw it with my mom and we both cried. I now have a new perspective on the lives and thoughts of poor people and people who are homeless. If you feel it might be too much money put that thought in the back of your head.......this is truly and amazing (life-changing) movie!

Pay it forward with Kevin Spacey and Helen Hunt
The War with Kevin Costner and Elijah Wood

Both movies are very sad but the message is loud and clear.

"What Dreams May Come", "Cinema Paradiso" (Italian), "The Shawshank Redemption", "The Notebook". These are all awesome pictures, if you like drama. I could mention a couple more, but judging from all answers you've gotten, it seems like your movie menu will be full for some time. Enjoy.

CrackityJones_83
Mindwalk starring Sam Waterson (the dude from Law and Order)

It will truly challenge the way you think.
