I'm thinking of taking a 1 day trip to Toronto, Canada. I've never been there. What should I see?

Dude, one day in Toronto is not enough! Go to a baseball game if you can, go up the CN Tower, check out St. Lawrence market, Chinatown, Kensington Market, Toronto Islands, Toronto Zoo, Wonderland, African Lion Safari (technically, not in Toronto, but in Cambridge). Just a few things there that you should see. That should keep you busy all day!

The tower. They have a glass floor at the top thats kinda cool if you're not scared of heights.

Start your day off early grab one of teh buses that do a city tour take it around and see the sites, grab some lunch on a resturant patio there are a ton of great places on Front Street or Queen Street. Book yourself into a matinee and see a great show either on King at one of teh Mirvish's places or over at the Pantages.

Take a walk over to Kensington and then check out the shops on Queen Street. Or go for a stroll down by the lake and around harbourfront.

Grab a nice dinner and hit a pub or bar and catch a band or go and watch and Argos or Blue Jays game

That pretty much give syou a taste of the city!

go online google T.O. (oops sorry Toronto) and see what else there is, those are just a few off the top of my head, haven't been there for a while myself

When I was in Toronto I went to this huge castle called Casa Loma. That's an impressive place to visit you can take a self guided tour. There are a lot of rooms inside Casa Loma including a conservatory, a library, a billiard room, a study, a kitchen, a dining room, a hall, and there are secret passages.
*I think it was done by Miss Scarlet in the library using a lead pipe!!*

HAHAHA nothing the city is too busy it will take you all day to get from airport to downtown! It depends when you are visiting, I would go to Niagara falls instead!

CN Tower is great and if you have the time, either the ROM or AGO but those last two will probably take you all day. They have tour buses you can take that start out on Front Street not all that far from the CN Tower which show you a lot of the city.

However, if you don't go to Toronto, Niagara Falls and wine country would be a great choice at this time of the year. They don't get smog alerts in Niagara the way Toronto does and those smoggy days can ruin the day easily, especially if you have asthma.
