This question is almost dumb enough to have come from another frequent joke poster around here.
Personally, I'd rather get involved with a campaign to change the name of Newfoundland and Labrador, which I find to be too long and too time consuming to type/say, to either Newfoundor or Labraland. There can be a referendum to decide which name to use. That way, when all is said and done, people from there can be either Newfoundorians or Labralanders. None of this "I'm a Newfoundlander" or "I'm a Labradorian". These are people from the same Province for crying out loud. They should be called one thing. |
