Of course just like any other country we have our asinine people and laws!
Are there any bad things? Well yes I guess so, but then again who likes to put the family's laundry out to dry?
There are times when we have the most inept governments, Like the two terms my fellow country men voted in Brian Mulroney's government. Or the Albertans kept voting in Klein, or the populace in Ontario voted in Mike Harris. Not once but twice! for crying out loud. Currently we are stuck with another Tory in power and he isn't that much better.
The only real poor thing I can see in my country is political. We tend to vote in the idiots! And then vote them in again!
Other than that we do boast the oldest mountain system in the whole world. The Canadian Shield. We have the longest shoreline in the world it starts on the East side goes north the crosses west on the north side and goes south to the end on the west coast. And we have the longest street in the world "Younge Street". We have a terrific economy, and a good immigration system. Our dollar is doing well on the global market, and right now winter has set in on the late fall. It's a good country, a little more tolerant than it should be. But we all have our faults. |

Same here, only good things. I have only heard one bad thing, but for me it could be anywhere, that there are places blacks are not welcome. Again, that could be anywhere, so that is really it. Look into it, go to myspace or facebook or yahoo 360 and find people living there and ask them what they think.
Good luck! |

Well, at the moment, being late fall and close to winter and all, it's COLD! And snowy and crappy out. But that's only for about a third of the year. The rest of the year is fine though! Of course, it does depend on what part of Canada you're in, just like the weather in the US depends on what part you're in. The weather in Maine will always be different from the weather in California for example, and so it will be that the weather in the Maritimes or Atlantic provinces in Canada will be different from that of the weather in say, BC or the other western provinces.
But I wouldn't live anywhere else!
Well, okay, maybe a nice tropical island somewhere...lol! |

We do have our problems. But it's nothing compared to other countries.
Between June 2007 and August 2007, over 2200 Americans moved to Canada for permanent residency and to work. When asked why they moved to Canada, they said, life is better. |

All the types of oppressions that apply in other countries apply in Canada also. As in any other country, the economy is racist and sexist: a gender and colour coded pyramid. The Canadian government denies aboriginals adequate educational and healthcare resources. The list goes on and on. |
