I Want to move to Canada.?

I want to move to Canada, but I'm a bit confused... is there a way to get an apartment and a job BEFORE you move there? I also have been looking EVERYWHERE but can't find anything on apartments...

First of all, you must become a permanent resident in order to live and work legally. As a permanent resident, you have more rights and privileges than a visitor....moreover finding a job and/or an apartment is not an issue

Good luck

Go to mls.ca that is one of our real estate websites, click the area that you want to move to on the map and then fill out the form that will pop up. It will take you to all of the places in that area following what you like. By the way, you should come to Ontario. It is totally awsome here, I can see the northern lights. Don't listen to those fools, Canada rocks! Are winters are cold, we get snow everywhere, beautiful. Our Summers are hot. Our falls are cool, and our Springs are just right! We also have a lot of stuff to do. Good luck.

If you want to apply to emigrate to Canada, that process can sometimes take a couple of years. Once you receive permission to come to this country - THEN, you would look for housing and make arrangements at that time.

There are lots of ways to get an apartment before moving, thats what I did. But about jobs, Im not sure. You may need an interview.

Come to Canada! It's so great here. There are lots of jobs here. For apartments go to mls.ca. If you have an idea of what province and town you want to live in, you can search by apartments for rent or for sale. If you find one you like in a certain town, you can look up that town's newspaper online for the classifieds for jobs. Our winters are cold here but if millions of people can do it so can you. It's so great having four very different seasons and we have the gorgeous Northern Lights. Good luck on your search!

Dont listen to that fool who says Canada is full. Except for a few morons, its a friendly country, open to immigrants from anywhere. The unemployment rate is low, and depending on where you go there is high demand for even entry level jobs. Try looking in Calgary for jobs.
MLS.ca is probably a good place to start looking for an apartment, but what i would suggest is that you contact one of the real estate agents on that site who work out of the area you are interested in and they will help you find a place for no charge.
Youll probably have to make a couple of trips to finalize everything, get a job etc..., and you should start talking to immigration right away to organize Permanant Resident status or to become a Landed Immigrant, it will make finding a job much easier.

Good Luck!

its to cold there

Wish Upon a Shooting Star
Canada is full.

We have enough Canadians who need jobs and apartments. So stay in your own country.

You can apply for an apartment online and get that but for a job, you won't get one before you get here and you won't get one once you're here.
you need a visa to work. those are not easy to get.

I suggest you make a friend in Canada, save up a lot of money and go stay with them for a little while. Chances are you will not even like it here.
