I am Canadian and I have heard lots of people say that the Americans hate us? Is this true?

Nope, not true at all. I am dating a Canadian and I love her a great deal. All my Friends and family really like her too. All the Canadians I have met are wonderful people. It tends to be only a small group of people from this country that have a bad attitude about people from other countries. Don't blame us all for something only a few do.
Come visit the US and find out for yourself. We'd love to show you our country. And I really do love yours too.

No they don't all hate us. As a Canadian who has many American friends and who has visited the US many times I can make that comment with some authority. They don't always understand us, our politics, geography, etc., but nor do we always understand theirs. Most of them are pretty much like us - live and let live. As with most countries, their politicians sometimes get them into a mess though.

I am a Canuck also and I lived in the States for several years.
American don't really have a unified opinion of Canadians and don't understand our differences (especially our sarcasm).

nope, I kinda think as Canada as a brother country to us. I don't agree with everything they do, but hell I have never known brothers to agree on everything lol

I even know some crazy Canadians lol they are cool.

But i was always under the impression that it was the other way around, since so many nations seem to despise the USA.

No Way!!! The United States and Canada are strong allies, u can cross the border with just ur driving license, and they're even making Canada part of the curriculum here, my little sister has it.
